Tyrannosaurus Rex Hoodie

After becoming a household name due to the popularity of the world famous movie franchise  'Jurassic Park' , the Tyrannosaurus Rex, literally translating to "Tyrant Lizard King", remains the most famous predator to ever walk the Earth. Living in North America during the Late Cretaceous period, around 68 to 66 million years ago, T. rex could grow up to 40 feet long and weigh nearly 9 tons. With teeth over 12 inches long and a bite force estimated at over 8,000 pounds, it had one of the strongest bites of any animal in history, capable of pulverizing bone.

Despite its short arms, the T-rex was a highly efficient predator and scavenger, with forward-facing eyes that gave it powerful depth perception. Fossils show it was one of the last great dinosaurs before the mass extinction even!
